Kataloag is a research-driven exploration using interviews and photographed objects to document the creative traditions of Low German Mennonites. As a designer, I blended visual storytelling, photography, and design to better my understanding of my cultural heritage and share what Mennonite creativity looks like. This project invites creatives to find inspiration in unexpected places and consider how culture and ancestry can inform meaningful, contemporary design.
