I have shot aerial photography of Los Angeles for years, from downtown to the beaches. This past January, LA endured extreme wildfire disasters driven by the Santa Ana winds. Once the fires were contained and died down, I got the opportunity to go up in a helicopter and view the devastation from the air. This is a set of photographs from Altadena, which was ravaged by the second most destructive fire in California's history.
